GM To Make Chevy a Global Brand

Chevrolet, the car brand that helped define American car for most of the last century, will gain greater visibility into the plans of its parent General Motors to expand the brand's global reach

Chevrolet global sales of less than 71 different plates have reached an all-time-1.1 vehicles in the first quarter. While Chevrolet represented 49.7 percent of total sales from GM, which always has the same status in society as three other GM brands - Buick, Cadillac and GMC.

GM sells the Opel and Vauxhall brands in its loss-making European operations, and less than Holden in Australia.

GM has tried to highlight the different brands and minimize their line of business, as evidenced by a restructuring financed by taxpayers in the summer of 2009 with a pejorative nickname "Government Motors."

Often, during their 100-year history of all American gas guzzlers and yachts land, Chevy, and seeks to expand the product range and geographic coverage.

Chevrolet Cruze small sedan, is sold throughout the world, exceeded Silverado pick-up in best-selling automotive brand in the first quarter.
