Audi continues its quest to become the automaker's leading luxury in the U.S. last month the company reported its best sales in March and the best first quarter in its history.
Here are some highlights:
• 25,383 cars sold, topping the previous record quarter of 2010 of 19.1%.
• Five models in the Audi composition of the official profits by more than 20% annually.
• Month after month, Audi increased sales by over 25% compared to February 2011 and increase YOY 14.3%.
What really stands out is the huge increase in sales of the Audi A8. Sales of the R8 has increased significantly. I think people are attracted by the idea of transforming the A8 WiFi hotspot mobile plus the updated MMI. Not to mention the interior design of the A8 is just oh so beautiful.
