In January we brought you spy photos of the Audi Q3 taken within its territory as in German, the official crossing detection should take place at Auto Show in Shanghai this month. Now, Audi has released a series of sketches inside and outside, and they give a good idea of what to expect from the final product.
Sketches show a stylish compact crossover a bit 'as shrunken Audi Q5, which has been reduced, and fortunately the Q7, Q3 is a more elegant look than its close relative, the Volkswagen Tiguan. Although Tig and Q3 is based on front-wheel drive platform, the main competitor to BMW X1 Q3 is based on a base rear-wheel drive. We suspect that most buyers will notice the difference, though, and in any case, the four-wheel drive is optional and Q3.
We can see that the third quarter grid like snout of the new Audi A6, and it contributes to an overall view of elegance. For those seeking a more aggressive character of the third quarter, there will obviously an appearance package option S-Line and optional LED lighting.
There will also be the first appearance of the interiors of these sketches, and looks like a sporty and elegant, or at least as much as possible through the stroke. The upper instrument panel surrounds the passenger compartment and center console is angled towards the driver. We look forward to the finished vehicle.
Power for the Q3 will come from a range of turbocharged four-cylinder petrol and diesel engines. SQ3 with nearly 270 horsepower is possible and probably necessary to counteract the BMX X1 xDrive35i, which will be at least 260 horsepower.
We look forward to seeing the third quarter in which it is fully revealed at the Salon this month's Shanghai Auto is just a pity that Audi has not decided yet if we'll see on these shores.
